Lille returns to draw and fails podium assault
The 26th round of Ligue 1 brought a big game between Brest (2nd place) and Lille (4th place), and Paulo Fonseca's team drew again, for the third consecu
The formation of the Portuguese coach, which had the help of Portuguese players Tiago Santos and Ivan Cavaleiro, opened the scoring during the second half, through Jonanthan David, at 67 minutes.
However, on Brest's side, which also had a Portuguese player (Mathias Lage) in the starting eleven, the reaction was not long in coming. In the 79th minute, Martin Satriano took advantage of a rebound and equalized the score, which remained the same until the end of the match.
Thus, Brest remains isolated in 2nd place, but can finish the round in 3rd place, in case of a Monaco victory. On the other hand, Lille reaches 43 points and fails to approach the podium.
